Our
Therapeutic Foster Care
program provides extensive training
to our foster homes to assist them in providing a nurturing and loving family to
children who are placed in the child welfare system. Because Adult and Child is
a mental health center, we have the ability to provide all of the services that a
child with severe emotional disabilities may need. Our TFC team will provide home
and community based case management services to the child and family, as well as,
individual/family therapy, medication management, and 24 on call crisis support
services.
Our
Shelter Care
program is designed to services the same population
of children as we find in TFC, however these children are placed on an emergency
basis after business hours. The primary population that is served within this
program are those children ages newborn to 6. This program provides monthly in
home case management and 24 hour on call crisis support.
Our
Transitional living
is a program that serves our adolescent population ages 16-18.
This program is able to provide the in home and community based case management
services to the child and family, as well as, individual/family therapy, medication
management, and 24 on call crisis support services, but the primary function of this
program is to assist the youth in developing the skills needed to live independently.
